Abstract
By some reasons, it is not easy to assess accurately the neuropsychiatric disability after traumatic brain injury(TBI). The clinical characteristics of neuropsychiatric symptoms after TBI by which medicolegal assessment is not properly performed are subjectiveness, delayed onset, and multiple causes of neuropsychiatric symptoms of TBI. And the lack of doctors' knowledge on TBI is the one of important factors. To report a fair and right medicolegal assessment, medical experts(psychiatrists) have to learn how to assess the disability accurately and describe the medicolegal report properly and be familiar with medicolegal terminology in forensic aspect. In this regard, the authors would like to propose the following recommendations.
